The RennMount Story: Precision for the Driver

Born from a Passenger Footwell

The idea for RennMount started on my first drive in a 991-generation Porsche 911. As my insulated water bottle rolled across the floor, I looked at the fragile, swing-out factory cup holders and realized they weren’t built for real-world driving.

I searched for an aftermarket solution, but found only two options: flimsy plastic inserts or invasive mounts that required drilling into my interior trim. I refused to compromise the cabin of my 911.

Engineering the "Porsche Vibe"

I set out to create a solution that was unobtrusive, functional, and stylish. After 12 prototypes and months of "spirited" test driving to ensure every container stayed secure, the flagship RennMount Precision Cup Holder was born.

What started as a personal project soon resonated with the community. On a whim, I listed the mount on Etsy, and the response was immediate.

Driven by the Community

Today, with over 1000 units sold and a Top 8% ranking on Etsy, RennMount has grown into a dedicated brand. Every product we design and manufacture, including our precision cup holders and magnetic charging mounts, is designed with the same philosophy:
